What keeps you going? A reflection on hope...
While having pizza the other night with some friends, we started discussing a quote we read from Charles Bukowski about hope.
Charles Bukowski once wrote:“That was all a man needed: Hope. It was lack of hope that discouraged a man.
”While Friedrich Nietzsche said:“Hope in reality is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs the torment of man.”
What is hope? Is it fuel? Or is it poison? We don't have a final answer, but we are curious about your opinion on this?
By the way, during our discussion we came across this photo of Charles having drinks with friends and thought it was worth sharing it with you.
