Our prices are calculated honestly from the very beginning — across the entire supply chain — so that everyone involved receives their fair share. Production in Europe has become more expensive over time, mainly due to rising labor, transport, energy, and material costs. At a certain point, we have to adapt to these realities in order to keep producing in the same way, with the same quality, and—most importantly—with the same people. When this happens, we will notify you through our newsletter.
We try to do things properly and transparently, and it truly means a lot to us. As always, thank you for supporting our small brand.
We also want to be transparent about something that really matters to us:
At Melou, we don’t calculate higher prices just to later offer discounts and create the feeling of “saving money.” We simply don’t agree with that kind of pricing culture. As we said above our prices are honestly calculated from the beginning and that’s why our prices stay consistent over time, and why discounts are not part of how we work.
