Just before reaching Tizi n'Test, a spoke snapped in Mikel's rear wheel, jammed in the derailleur and twisted it beyond use. For two hours, we bent metal, adjusted the gears, worked on the chain, took everything apart and put it back together again.

The challenge didn’t reveal who was the best mecanic but how we worked together.

Calm over panic, contribution over ego, patience over frustration, trust without certainty, and solving the next problem instead of fearing the whole journey.

Looking back now, it feels like this hardship wasn't an interruption of the journey. In a way, it was the starting point of the real one.
