...but hand dyed, one by one in our workshop in Portugal. Still, we love the process behind batik dyeing.
Originally from Indonesia, particularly the island of Java, the technique of batik dyeing creates individual patterns with subtle gradients and soft edges shaped by timing and the way how the fabric is folded— no two ever alike.
It’s imperfect, textured and deeply satisfying.
